Suite101.com had a recent opportunity to catch up with Niurka, CEO of Niurka, Inc., to discuss her views about the state of the economy, business expansion and the future of her own brand. For those readers who may not be familiar with this lively, emerald-eyed beauty: Niurka is known as a master trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, hypnotherapist, pranic healing practitioner, and mystic scholar. She is a world-class speaker whose work fuses the business world with universal wisdom. Niurka, Inc. conducts workshops, courses and seminars, sells its DVD’s & CD’s, and will be completing a book entitled, “Supreme Influence: I Create as I Speak”, which will be published by Random House.
Niurka, Inc. has been in existence for over ten years and has evolved into a thriving business, with its corporate headquarters in Costa Mesa, California.
SUITE101: Were you the one who coined it the “transformational industry”?
NIURKA: Actually, I’m not sure who coined it. Many (in the industry) use Mind, Body & Spirit, which is popular. Transformation certainly describes my life’s work. Transformation and alignment is what I teach in my courses…purposeful transformation and alignment with your ultimate purpose.
SUITE101: Who is your target audience?
NIURKA: I would say anyone who is receptive and committed. But I can tell you the demographics of those who are the most likely to take action on the level of transformational alchemy that we offer. From a business standpoint, I could say it’s between these age groups and geographically located in these areas, but it’s really people who are committed to live fully-centered in their power, open-hearted and grounded and who want to be purposeful with their communication.
SUITE101: How does Niurka, Inc. reach out and find clients?
NIURKA: We use a wide variety of marketing tools. We’re now in the process of launching a new internet initiative that is targeted. Right now a big part of our clientele is people who are or want to be coaches, trainers and speakers. They want to be certified in NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), which my cornerstone workshop offers. “Supreme Influence in Action” is an eight-day immersion into NLP and several other modalities that will train our clients so they can then coach clients.
Through the participants at all of our intensive workshops, we attract people who are referred from all over the world. People tend to leave our workshops and tell their loved ones and family members about their experiences. The next thing we know, the whole family is attending.
SUITE101: Have you noticed any change in your business during the past couple of year’s recession, either positive or negative?
NIURKA: I’ve seen changes. Several years ago we had a lot of clients in real estate and mortgage, and that has changed. But overall, our business has evolved with the changes in the economy. Here’s what I know to be true about this. It’s all about what you focus on and believe. Here (at Niurka, Inc.), we just flow like water. So rather than being affected, we stayed flexible enough to shift with it. The most flexible person wins. So I stay clear on my intent and stay flexible. Plus my company is 100% a reflection of me and my focus, so he company is always evolving, just as I am.
SUITE101: What are your plans for growing your business and expanding the Niurka brand?
NIURKA: Well, we’re already globally-based, but right now we do most of the courses here on the west coast. But I see that growing, so we can train trainers to facilitate courses all over the world and share this teaching with even more people. We’re focusing on an internet initiative right now. SUITE101: What do you feel is your point of differentiation? What makes Niurka Inc. different from others in the industry?
NIURKA: Lots of things. That’s why the title of my upcoming work is: “Supreme Influence”. That’s key to what makes me unique. It’s about how I bring my life’s purpose into the world. ”Supreme Influence” is grounded in your “Supreme”, divine essence in a way that is fully expressed in the human experience. “Supreme” is your divine essence, which is your unified connection to your source of power. “Influence” is grounding it! It’s like, how do you ground your idea and create inward fluency? “Supreme Influence” brings things from the realm of ideas into manifestation. I also bring in a lot of modalities in a way that gives tangible, bottom-line results. It’s all based on how you communicate to the outside world and to yourself.
SUITE101: What is your overall business philosophy?
NIURKA: I have many. First be clear about what you want. Then focus in on it while still remaining open to the infinite possibilities to what’s around you. You can’t get tunnel vision. Take purposeful, strategic action and then remain flexible. Be really tuned into your sensory acuity to know if what you’re doing is working or not. Have the sensory acuity to notice how your communication is landing in other peoples’ worlds. What is the result that is showing up from that? And then have behavioral flexibility and change your approach and then just keep changing your approach until you achieve your outcome. It may even be a greater expression of what you originally imagined. Stay open and be grounded in your “Supreme Influence”. Then you will have incredible miracles. It will change your life.
SUITE101: Is there anything else you’d like to mention about the business of Niurka, Inc. or your upcoming book?
NIURKA: I’ll share a little. The essence of it is my most powerful, signature course that we hold once a year. In fact, it’s coming up in October and November and we are fired up about that. That is the place where the alchemy unfolds. That is the place where the magic transformation happens. That is when I get to work with people in a more intimate setting in a way that transforms limited beliefs and allows us to fully express our power, which is all founded in “Supreme Influence”.
